Pure Wine is a remarkable family-owned brand built on decades of science, research, and a genuine love for making wine more enjoyable. Co-founded by father-and-son duo David and Derek Meadows, and now based in Fort Worth, Texas, Pure Wine has one simple mission: help wine lovers enjoy their favorite blends without the next-day headaches, congestion, or histamine reactions. Their flagship products — The Wand and The Phoenix — have become beloved solutions for anyone who wants to savor a glass without paying for it the morning after.

Since launch, the brand has taken the market by storm, becoming the #1 wine and beverage accessory on Amazon in North America with tens of thousands of 5-star reviews. As Pure Wine prepared to expand beyond Amazon and grow on DTC, Igloo stepped in as a true in-house extension of their team — bringing end-to-end e-commerce expertise across advertising, creative, and operational performance.

We partnered closely with leadership to reduce fixed costs, stabilize the bottom line, and embed a lean roster of senior specialists across Google, Facebook, Email, Graphic Design, and Web Development to build a growth engine that could scale sustainably.

Our Work Together

Across channels, our focus was simple: strengthen the foundation, optimize what already worked, and build toward the next stage of Pure Wine’s growth story.

On Google, we rebuilt the account with a non-branded performance strategy designed to capture new audiences searching for symptom-based solutions. This structure quickly paid off — improving ROAS by 30% since launch while maintaining strong efficiency and expanding reach.

On Meta, we developed a refreshed creative and funnel approach tailored to Pure Wine’s uniquely passionate customer base, while Email and Klaviyo flows helped nurture and convert customers drawn in by the brand’s Amazon success.

Acting as an embedded extension of the Pure Wine team, our role expanded beyond ads — helping refine web experience, creative output, and funnel sequencing while ensuring every touchpoint aligned with the brand’s scientific yet approachable personality.

A major milestone in the partnership was the rollout of Buy With Prime. Early results have been incredibly encouraging, contributing organically to roughly 10% of daily sales with minimal DTC cannibalization — giving Pure Wine stronger margin control and a more ownable relationship with their customers.
